The beacon that once guided ships through the beautiful but dangerous reef of the Bay Islands is back in operation.  The lighthouse located at the Meridian has undergone a complete restoration this past year and as of January 21st of 2010 the light shines once again.  When visiting West Bay or as you depart on a cruise ship keep an eye out for the guiding light on this landmark location.
